Her credits include portraits of Mick Jagger, Hillary Clinton, Patti Smith, Demi Moore, Keith Richards and Arnold Schwarzenegger. Camera in hand, Leibovitz has also boldly captured the apocalypse of war in Sarajevo and Rwanda. Over the past thirty years, she has contributed to the formation of the contemporary world and now is just as famous as the celebrities she has worked with. Barbara Leibovitz sees her older sister as a personality with the ability to guard her privacy and maintain her own integrity in the most dramatic and pressure-packed situations. At work, in the rural idyll of her family’s homestead or finishing a new photographic collection; Annie Leibovitz remains a woman who never loses face, as confirmed by an array of celebrities in their on-camera interviews.
Barbara Leibovitz:is Annie Leibovitz’s younger sister. She started her professional career in 1987, by co-operating on the CBS programme 48 Hours.
